This story is fake! This guy had some experience with this plane. As a pilot of +30yrs he said some things that gave this away.
He may not be licensed/certificated but he's had some flight experience.

First thing I thought about was the commercial where the passenger landed a passenger plane. I have watched this at least ten times. It’s so inspiring and the passenger turned pilot is extremely poised and confident yet humble. God is real. This story is inspiring and I’m going to share in my teamwork classes this semester.
This is a sham not one pilot ice talked to belives a person with zero experience could land this aircraft in a cross wind with no flaps he has flown a plane before and he has landed a aircraft . Yes there was a emergency but the story has taken off as something it's not . A person with experience landed this plane listen to the atc real people with no experience are talked down he did most of it on his own
