Peak of Hurricane Season: Two Tropical Waves Emerge from Africa ctm magazine

It is the peak of hurricane season and I’m tracking two tropical waves near the coast of Africa. There are no signs they will immediately develop, so that’s some great news! Later in the week, the first one will bring more rain and thunderstorms to parts of the Caribbean.

Heavy areas of rain continue today for parts of Florida, Cuba, the northern Bahamas, Belize, and Honduras. Scattered thunderstorms will work into Trinidad and Tobago and Barbados. A few pop-up storms are possible in Jamaica.

What’s left of Hurricane Earl will bring some gusty winds to Eastern Canada, and the winds will pick up tomorrow in Portugal, Spain, Ireland and the UK.

Thank you for sharing this channel with your friends and family!

I like that you don't set your hair on fire just because a couple of waves are coming off of Africa.

Good evening, I would appreciate if I could get updates. I live in Puerto Rico and I know that all the storms hurricanes come from the coast of Africa. Please keep us updated

It's so easy when people live on dry land, but it's very important to us when we live surrounded by the ocean

  • Maria Rivera on September 11, 2022

I could not imagine how people in the cities would be able to function when a hurricane of five sweeps their entire reality and would not know how to survive. So sad

  • Maria Rivera on September 11, 2022

When a person has lived and gone through a hurricane Category 5 is when you know what life is and how powerful the elements are they are to be respected. Not only think that this is happening to me one time of year solely if you get flooded by water please have more compassion

  • Maria Rivera on September 11, 2022

When you live on a small island surround it by the ocean that is Puerto Rico, this island is only a hundred miles by 35 MI and get hit with a hurricane Category 5, let's think about that

Spain is expecting unseasonably warm autumn/fall until end of November, so I think there's a lot of heat in the engine for tropical storms.
