    Is cheese necessary?

My son hates tofu and prefers my bulgar wheat vegan burgers, but wants to try something new. One of the workers at Trader Joes makes polenta burgers and we are going to try. My son loves cornbread and corn chapatis and I like grits so we thought this would be fun to. This looks yummy!

My grandma (RIP) used to make us polenta squares like this. Really nice and crunchy on the outside.

They were supposed to be a side dish but I used to have them as the main meal because they were so delicious.

@Phantoma3 hehe-sounds like when i was a kid…i could make meals out of one food too! sometimes for weeks on end actually…..(once a day though, not 3 times a day for weeks! LOL-funny how thats my idea of "past the line"…)

I'm amazed! Could you maybe redo it? I'd love to hear your polenta puns!

  • Kathleen Craig on January 1, 2018

I have to agree with Ise Mueller in the comments. I'd love an update of this, or perhaps another polenta that is crispy outside, soft inside? Thanks for a decade of deliciousness, Chef!
