Great dish. The speaker’s tonality though.

I made your Agrodolce sauce and it is mind blowingly fantastic! Pork butt, chicken thighs, ribs, pork tenderloin, etc. etc.

This was absolutely delicious. The leftovers were even better (if possible) the next day.

Just made the marinade and the pork is happily soaking it up, forgot anchovies on my grocery order the other day so going without. Have made this several times, easy and amazing as well as cheap.

Trying this now with one difference: I'm marinating this pork for 2 days beforehand

I made this, but I only had pork tenderloin. It came out pretty good, and it cooked faster than pork shoulder at 325 F. I should have made more sauce to drizzle over it and the rice after it cooked. Will do that next time.

Chef John, would this braise be ok with pork tenderloin or not enough connective tissue?

I made this tonight and it was soooo good!

Thanks Chef John, another great recipe!

I also served it on Ricotta Mashed Potatoes, didn’t need a recipe on this, just boiled potatoes, hunk of butter a couple of tablespoons of ricotta and whipped the bejesus out of it with a hand mixer. Just Devine!

I made this tonight and it was honestly one of THE BEST new recipes I have made in the last 2 years!!! I cut some of the spices in half, and increased the honey. I can’t wait to try this again! Gonna make it with chicken.

  • JonniePolyester on September 30, 2021

Lovely- could use Apple cider vinegar with balsamic for an apple note …. Pork & apple 🤔 hmmm there’s a thought! 😂👍

This recipe was outstanding. I will say, I tripled the garlic. Next time, I think I will use shallot instead of the green onion. But wow. I served it over Chef John’s perfect polenta, which was, indeed, perfect. Will make again soon.
