Will this work with center cut chops?

  • Richard G on January 22, 2021

A tablespoon of hot horseradish? Kind of scares me. One of the only dishes I ever ruined had horseradish in it. That stuff is VERY overpowering! Of course I don't see any complaints below. Kind of worried about ruining the sauce with horseradish. Ugh. Anyone?

  • Thomas Jones on February 5, 2021

Made this many times. Also burned myself making it many times. Still worth it.

Hi, 11 year later here….but can the sauce be made without the fond? I am grilling a hog leg but would still like to try the sauce. Thanks!

Fabulous recipe and very easy to prepare! Next time I’ll double the sauce ingredients since I have a sauce addict in house. Definitely on my rotation list. Thank you for this wonderful recipe.

  • BubbaSmurft on July 17, 2021

Looks and sounds delish' and I'll make it soon BUT where's the Diablo part? There's not enough "spicy" in there to ruffle a Nun.

If you are using a cast iron pan or gas oven, reduce the temperature 375 is too high. I had two tenderloins and they over cooked in 22 minutes. Meat temperature hit 160 easily.

  • Rob Stevens on November 8, 2021

  • Another Joe on January 4, 2022

Made this today for family… Awesome and very easy although making a pan sauce requires a little practice and finesse at least on my part… The only thing I would change next time is to substitute some chopped parsley for the chives… Whatever… It was very good… Thank you!…

  • Rhicke Jennings on January 13, 2022

This was so good! I made this using a 1.5 pound pork tenderloin (the only size available). I did sear the pork on all sides before putting it in the oven which left the outside with a delicious crust. I could not cut my tenderloin with a fork so next time I will check the internal temp at 20 minutes. The sauce was to die for, it was incredible. Next time I would add more cayenne to make a bit spicier. We paired the meat with a spinach, mixed greens, goat's cheese and fig salad. It was an outstanding dinner we will make again.
