    I made 10 lbs. of chicken wings for a work event pot luck. Half were this recipe and half an earlier Foodwishes sriracha wings recipe that I’d made several times before. I was surprised that Ram Wings turned out to be the favorite. I still love both equally but Ram Wings are the easier to make.

    I can't stand molasses so I used a trick learned from Alton Brown and substituted it with golden syrup. Turned out beautifully with a lighter red color

    We have something called Sorghum syrup in the south…….tastes similar to molasses…….I think it's made by boiling down cane sugar juice squeezed out in a large circular shaped press run by a horse walking around in circles. .
