Not one of the inmates tried to throw feces at him. I think maybe, the UK prison systems are working. Perhaps the inmates have better manners than the ones ive stayed with in the states. I was honestly a little nervous for him at first and was surprised at how decent they were behaving.
Though Gordan can be mean, he has to be to get others to be capable of what's expected in the kitchen, time management, properly made food, cleanliness, taste …we all watch him because we find him to be a great leader and will be aggressive or straightforward when he needs to. He gives hugs and great pep talks to those who surprise him and who he sees has potential to be the next of one of the greatest chefs

Gordon you were kind of a dumb ass here, at least in america the more prisoners that are in the prison the more money that the prison makes
As we all know most of prison systems around the world are broken. We lock up criminals and take their rights away but we turn our heads around because they are criminals and we say “they deserve it”. In reality it is just a loop because once a prisoner goes into the real world they have to go back to what they know best in order to survive. Is that really fighting crime? Most prisons don’t offer hope, skill, knowledge or even therapy. If we change the prison system the prisoners can go back into the real world after serving their time and actually change for the better. Instead of depriving the people that need help the most in society lets help them become better members of our civilized world.
