Love you Paradise.
It is like an action movie. It is living while pumped up on adrenaline.
Exit 6 naranja fl I’m all about Chevy 1971 -73 & 75 convertible
This reminds me of fallout
This heartbreaking… Lord bless their hearts and family never lose faith
My heart goes out to each of you who were effected by this. I know exactly what the PTSD feels like. I survived the Holy Fire and the two ensuing mudslides. My solution was to move and vow to never own a house in the hills or near a stream ever again.
Get rid of the liberals, problem solved
Smoke was so bad where I live, it was like a thick fog, ash falling everywhere. Even worse to know part of it was the dead. It's a gutted feeling
8 months later the last clip still brings me to tears 😔"I see light!" We made it, we made it!" To all that were affected by the tragedy of the fire in Paradise, forgive me for complaining about the smoke. May the Lord strengthens you more each day.
I will never forget that fear. That.. smell. That feeling… Paradise was gone. Single most traumatizing situation this area has ever gone through. definitely will anyways be with me.
Nov 8th ⚘
I had never seen the sky look as deep red as I did the very next day the fire started. It was cold, dark, smelled like smoke, and you couldn’t breathe without a mask…
I did a contract for the hospital in Paradise earlier that year and the first thought that cross my mind (not even kidding) – this place is a straight up giant fire hazard.
Who would EVER go to see this…..Ron Howard …..Hollywierd………You know nothing of the town of Paradise…..Disgusting you make money off the sufferings of others……Absolutely disgusting. That was not a "normal" fire…….!!!!!
It was the worst day ever.
i lost everything 😔
Dammit! Just heard about this and missed the screening in Philly by several days! Hopefully we can see it online soon!!!
I went through this to I had to run I’m only 9 it was really hard to watch the movie but I got through it 😢
So PGE executives are in jail right….right?
Ron Howard’s documentary builds empathy as we feel we’re there with the families victimized by the fire thanks to a comprehensive collection of intimate, on-scene videos. We take away examples of cooperation and selflessness. Many social lessons are wrapped up in this film, a portrait of a real rural community dealing with disaster as well as Americans did on the Western frontier.
One woman who was flooded out of her house near the Mississippi three times, MOVED.She said I don't like that town THAT much.
Camp Okizu 😟😟
Who else's is here because of Pearl Jam?…
Asking since there's a lot of people from the area on here… Is there any way to make the area fireproof?
Just wondering since they show someone building a wood-beam structure and it seems like that's the last material I'd want have in a fire zone…
I just drove through there 3 weeks ago. Still seemed like a ghost town to me. Horrifically sad to see all the blackened trees and rows of mailboxes with no homes to connect them with. 🙁
Watch what gets rebuilt where the town used to be. Then you'll know who set the fires.
