Gordon, I hate to say it but it was down to me following another of your recipes!
I had heated the cream and milk to a luke warm state and I then added half a bottle of Old Navy Rum.
Mr Tibbs has been distraught since Jamie died in the poaching liquid incident, but the smell of all that cream got his little furry chops salivating. What self respecting cat wouldn't rise to that bait eh?
Whilst I took myself off to the pantry to collect more ingredients and review your instruction on my ipad, Mr Tibbs imbibed the whole pan of intoxicating cream and milk.
Hiccupping wildly he headed out of the cat flap at speed . Unfortunately his aim was off (Perhaps from seeing two catflaps and choosing a central path??? Who knows?) He hit the door hard and broke his little neck..RIP Mr Tibbs
