See What Europe’s Coins Looked Like Before the Euro | Short Film Showcase ctm magazine
Before the euro was introduced, the continent featured a wide range of unique national currencies. This delightful animation shows what coins looked like before the eurozone. The imagery of pounds, marks, lira, and francs intertwines to create a visual narrative that weaves the political and historical moments of those nations together in under two minutes.

I thought it was going to be in more depth about coins but great animation
And Romanian?
nice
Beautiful, traditional, cultural and unique. Everything the EU elite hates, so they had to go.
You all have way more funds and can literally find the real things so do better, over all these were "beautiful coins "
Nice edit
Ahh the Dutch Gulden… Those were the days!

Good
When looked upon more closely and beyond their purchasing power, coins, with their visual motifs, can reveal much about a nation’s governance, culture, and its past. To learn more, you can read on here: https://on.natgeo.com/2RLWREB
Numismática! 👏🏼
No Britain and Italy or the Nordic nations, aren't they a part of the European Continent
this is pathetic. You should'nt have made this video at all considering the terrible animation!

Unless I am mistaken the majority of the background music is Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli. Great choice!

No European Black Royalty Coins ?
STUPID!!! I want to see the real coins😪
I was in Spain 🇪🇸 when the euro came in. Eh paid in Spanish, after changing from English. Then at check out it went from paying in pesetas then change in Euro, very annoying.
So much culture and pride wiped away and replaced by an enormous supernational government.
The Video would be better, with the comparison of the Euro coin of the particular country.
I came from a eurpean country and I think I dont know how they look like today
And why you showed always just one side? A coin has two sides!
Beautiful video. Very enjoyable to watch. Thank you for sharing this. Within all of the coins showed, I am fascinated by all their time-frames. Thank you. 🙂
Too bad the Euro and EU are dogshit. Cute video though
How come the British Pound (Scotland) isn't here?
Just stick with BITCOIN
love the Euro though…
And then socialism happened…
How long will it be before the Euro destroys these economies? Once it starts to slide (losing too much value from the zero to negative interest rates) inflation will flare; they'll then have to raise interest rates, that'll crash the economy and will too little too late, it will be the end of it. It will hyperinflate, in the coming 10 years. And the Euro will not be alone, the dollar same same.
?? Why is this on Nat Geo… focus folks, and leave the cartoon coins to the History channel, yeah.
too simplified

Delightful!
