SES-9 Full Webcast ctm magazine

SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket will deliver SES-9, a commercial communications satellite for SES, to a Geostationary Transfer Orbit (GTO). SES is a world-leading satellite operator that provides satellite-enabled communications services to broadcasters, Internet service providers, mobile and fixed network operators, and business and governmental organizations worldwide using its fleet of more than 50 geostationary satellites. SpaceX is targeting an evening launch of SES-9 from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Fla. The approximately 90-minute launch window opens on March 4 at 11:35 pm UTC. The satellite will be deployed approximately 31 minutes after liftoff.

I think I speak for many thousands of people when I ask that we would like to see the video of the first stage landing attempt. We're dying of curiosity to see what happend. We know it was a hard landing, but we want to see! Also, congratulations on the success of such a difficult launch, and, good luck landing next time! The space fan community is rooting for you!

  • quinto190 on March 8, 2016

Well done. I very much appreciate that you guys explain this in so much detail. Although satellites are launched to geostationary orbit since about 50 years, I've never seen such a detailed explanation.

Fake X. I hope you can do a better Job than NASA faking space. This channel censors comments like where is the light. You will be destroyed, no hope to get into space, censor away it won't help you.

With the way it looks, Fake X is going to botch the effect of going into Space.

36:16 – swab expelled – time to run, 37:03 – oops, forgot that one – no matter, just let it fry away
Gee, that weight loss effect on 2nd stage acceleration is amazing – just compare it at the S2 Startup @12:50 and Burn 2 @37:04 – it's now gaining hundreds as quickly as tens at the beginning.
