Stuffed Pork Chops – Food Wishes ctm magazine

I’ve never been a big fan of stuffing steaks and chops, since it makes the cut of meat trickery to cook, and the stuffing is almost always better cooked separately, and served alongside. But, I make an exception when it comes to these double-cut pork chops, especially when they’re being flavored from the inside-out with fresh peaches.

    This is on this weekends menu. Not sure if I can get peaches, if not, apples & maybe some walnuts will make for a good substitute (should I add cinnamon & allspice as well?) Publix butcher for 1.5" bone in chops. Seared on the Blackstone, smoked in the Pit Boss… Just have to work on my pan sauce. Great video… Thanks for the inspiration.

    So glad I came across this recipe… If I hadn't watched I would have immediately cut into the wrong side of the pork chop🤦🏾‍♀️… Also the pocket trick is a great idea. It allows me to sear the pork without all the stuffing falling out thanks!

    Tried this tonight. Family loved it! I added bell peppers, cucumbers, and jalapenos to the stuffing and used the peach juice instead of broth. I also added brown sugar to the vinaigrette sauce. Cheese Roux Steamed Spinach and Cauliflower and scalloped potatoes on the side. Delicious! Plates were served loaded and all of them got cleared. No leftovers.

    Huge fan but…did it all by the book but boy oh noy was the pork dry and tough. In fact i find that cut always dry and tough…well, almost all the time. Gonna try with real chops to see if its better plus wait for peach season. Enjoy!
