Why don't you just lay the corn on a cutting board and cut it? Instead of standing it up.

Oh my god. Dairy free corn cream sauce? And I just happened to randomly buy 2 ears of corn at the veggie market today, for reasons I didn't even understand myself at the time. Now I know why!

I would've added some butter to this. It just looks like it's lacking butter.
All of the work on the corn is really milking it.

I made this last night! We both loved it. My husband thought I may have been a bit heavy-handed with the cayenne, yet he soaked up every bit with his bread. 🙂 Bonus? In case you did not know this, I just grabbed a taste of the leftovers with a fork… and this is DELICIOUS as a cold pasta salad! So guess what's for lunch, Chef John?
