On one hand, not opening schools cripples the next generation of Americans, as they lack education and social aspects. On the other hand, covid in school are significant sites that increase the rates of infection. Teachers who willingly refuse to go to school are either truly concerned and do their best to teach through other mediums, while some teachers are just lazy assholes.
At this point, what sensible parent would trust the schools, even if they submit to the people.
