Too many innocent animals get caught in the nets and mostly die unless divers see it and help the animals.

Are there more or less shark attacks compared to places without the nets?

I feel like the nets could be put closer to shore, In more shallow areas where people swim. Easier to reach and relocate anything tangled up.

The fundamental flaw here is framing the sharks as the bad guys. If more effort was put into informing beach goers and the public about shark behavior and human behavior to avoid, incidents with sharks will be less frequent. The bottom line is sharks aren't going out of their way to munch on people. Typically these so called "attacks" are triggered by people being perceived as threats to the shark by being too close or even stepping on the shark.

Sometimes I do feel tire of hearing the so-called "expert opinions" or "expert advices". They have their own agendas.
