👏👏👏 anything with Mike Flanagan attached to it is no doubt gonna be amazing ❤️

Can Mike Flanagan get that 'named' credit like he obviously deserves in projects he does soon? (like the classic masters from decades past) I'm fairly certain 99% of his audience at this point gobbles up anyhing with his name attached to it.

🎶 Don’t be afraid. I didn’t mean to scare you. So help me, Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. 🎶

Not so fun fact: This song is from the POV of a mentally deranged man who has every intention of killing his date. Before. During. Then at the end. It’s possible he’s done this before.

Midnight club? Midnight society? This feels like are you afraid of the dark

  • Andi Dreyes on September 21, 2022

Oh man. This book changed me. I looked at the world, even my life and death as only a step for the next life or even a life that is not how we'd view life. I preferred his stories to a bunch of R.L. Stine. Not that I didn't like his stories, but I enjoyed the supernatural stories.. and stories that had a great impact.

Thought the creepiest shot was at 2:27 but the shadow of the girl at the end got me. Mike Flanagan is a true master of Horror

  • Dee Ennis on September 21, 2022

So it's a nick at night: after you afraid of the dark but on Netflix. Netflix seems to be backtracking from original to knockoff (early streaming days transmorphers anyone lol)content. Midnight club/midnight society jesus just rename it or create your own IP. Looks good except the makes ghosts line.

Mike Flanagan has done soooo good, but with this one I smell a stinker.

Honestly, Netflix has been killing the horror game. I have been so pleasantly surprised by their releases.

Trailers can be misleading. But… there's a worrying amount of loud noises based jump scares in this trailers. I have liked Flannigans previous efforts because he has shown great restraints. Making great efforts to avoid those annoying tropes. This sharing "Producer" with Midnight Mass and not "Director" or "creator" has some hints as well that it may not be a tonally consistent production with those other two lauded miniseries. Looking through imdb suggests he only directed 2 of the episodes here. So I am suspecting that the series as a whole might be more fractioned vision wise.

But then again, I love anthology-shows so. This may be a win win.

    christopher pike should be proud!

  • Varah Potter on September 21, 2022

    Ooooooo I can’t wait!

  • Erin Bauer on September 21, 2022

Samantha Sloyan acted the hell outta Bev and practically carried Midnight Mass on her back. Can't wait to see her in this!

  • Kollin on September 21, 2022

This October is honestly one of the best Octobers in recent years for horror/genre television: Mike Flanagan's 'Midnight Club', Del Toro's 'Cabinet of Curiosities', Interview with a Vampire, Let the Right One In, Werewolf By Night, and to a lesser degree, Supernatural spin-off 'The Winchesters' and Reginald the Vampire. Hopefully, Netflix fits in 'Wednesday' in their October lineup too. Either way, so pumped.
