Would someone kindly please tell me why you can’t store raw meat next to cooked meat? I mean I know you you’re not supposed to put them on top of each other obviously but what not next to it? The raw juices won’t run into the cooked meat? Can somebody tell me why?

people could simply buy a sanitation and saftey book and see the order you can put product in the fridge. Also it's common sense that you put ready to eat foods away from raw roods to prevent contamination.
