Everyone love wrestling now all of a sudden. What happened to Fracis and Lewis being the most boring fight ever and Francis outworked Lewis… The former wrestler
Michael made a great point about Gane giving up position and grabbing Francis’s foot ! At the time no one understood why as it didn’t make sense but he must have known about the injury. Only he grabbed the wrong leg ! The right knee was injured
Francis did NOTHING! Gane clearly won 48-47. Gane won Rounds 1, 2 and 5. He out landed Francis by 20 total strikes! In Rd 5, Gane landed the takedown, and controlled the round for more than half of the time. The only reason Francis got to top position is because Gane pulled for a submission. Then Francis laid on top of him and did NOTHING! He didn’t advance, he didn’t land ground and pound, he didn’t go for a submission, he just laid on top of him.
Francis (the most explosive and strongest heavyweight) showed nothing impressive in terms of wrestling, he was simply the bigger man and could easily use brute force to get takedowns.
Francis was already winning the round that he got the takedowns in. He did NOTHING in round 5, yet was still given the win. It’s absurd!
I'm not going to lie, I am French and I cried when Gane got robbed of a win. It was a complete injustice and my heart ached for him. I had Gane clearly winning 4 rounds and Francis only winning 2. Cyril personified the French fighting spirit. I feel like we are bonded in the fact that we are true alpha lions… We fight, we cry, we love. Francis having "massive power" was a compete myth as he had to panic wrestle when he knew he was outclassed and getting hurt on the feet. If people like us are lions, then people like Francis are hyenas. 🇫🇷 toujours

Please guys stop this fight was really tight. The only thing that made Ngannou wins is that he's a freak of nature. Gane could have won that one if he didnt got caught on wrestling Ngannou could handle the fatigue because he was on him most of the time.

Keep being you and never change. Floyd, Ali, Lewis Hamilton, Tiger Woods, Lebron had to go through the same thing. If folks are jealous and discriminating it just means you’re doing good and they hate your confidence and success.

I wanted my money back after this garbage fight. It wasn’t really a fight at all. They were both very cautious and tentative. I love how Joe Rogan and all the UFC hype these things up and the end up being a total dud. It wasn’t a good match up but it had the potential to be. At least in boxing there’s activity this was one guy trying to chase another guy with barely anything thrown. Then you hear oh well Francis has evolved!! What a joke he did nothing with the takedown outside of almost get submitted but Gane screwed that up.

Jones would beat the shit out of Ngannou. Jones ragdolls any of these guys on the ground and it seems from this fight that it isn't too hard to avoid Francis' power.

Ok. Francis should get surgery on his knee. Then, sit out for a year to the end of the UFC contract. Then, go promote a big boxing fight with Tyson Fury, get millions, and retire from combat sports. Easy. Simple.
