Whittaker's an amazing athlete, but Israel is just exceptional. His ability to download data especially in the first round makes him so so dangerous. Whittaker's making a mistake thinking he has to be patient and follow Jan's blueprint. Plus, Whittaker's way too predictable does similar combos: jab,cross, high kick which is 1 of my favorite though. Those shit won't connect with Israel constantly picking him apart slowing him down with calf kicks, feints, head movement, switching angles, and most importantly managing distance. Israel is just so unpredictable. The only improvements I saw from Whitaker's last fight with Canonnier/Gastellum is less of that linear movement, which Chandler does too and also closing distances setting up a fake jab with the powerful cross but there's still so many loopholes in his game sadly. I see Israel chopping that leg down a lot with leg kicks in round 1 while downloading his data. Whitaker can also throw a lot of bodyshots especially when izzy evades kicks though but that's not making any difference either.
For me this is very similar to usman vs Colby. Both unbelievable but usman will always win.

Haven't been this hyped for a fight in a long time, can't wait.
These two are studs; next to GSP, really, with their character, mentality and drive (boy would that be fun to see GSP at 185 two more time, then at 155 for Khabib, haha!); I really want Bobby Knuckles to get the w this time around. Izzy is great; no one else like that guy, really. But, if the Reaper gets his hand raised, we get to see a third fight. Want to watch these guys fight at least three times. They're both fucking awesome, and honestly, these two are genuinely the best 185ers since Silva. Everyone forgets, Whittaker fought two five round wars with Romero. A turnt on, hell bent destroyer Romero. I don't see many fighters doing that. Fifty minutes of nearly getting knocked out each round. To come out of those fights, then to win three in a row after losing to Izzy, Whittaker is a beast.
