Zabit can do 5 rounds. He had a staph infection prior to the fight. Khabib pulled out of fights because of staph infections. Same with many other fighters. Staph infections are easy for fighters to get because they train with so many people in places where sweat is not always cleaned. Bacteria feeds on the protein in the sweat. Even if you have a small cut on your skin that isn't visible to the human eye, the staph infection can enter the body through a single cut. Because of the stitching on the gloves, it is common to get skin abrasions. So when a fighter gets a staph infection, it's not like they have been living an unhealthy lifestyle – it's just the issues with hygiene. They might even go for a run to lose weight and the wind can blow the staph bacteria into their clothes and it feeds on the sweat and then goes into the skin. The antibiotics destroy all your good bacteria and the problem with that is that the human body doesn't absorb food directly, the human body absorbs resources provided by the good bacteria which do the work of breaking down the food and converting it into useful resources. And that is why human's have an appendix. The appendix is like a barracks/shelter that functions as the main backup of good bacteria – if you lose all your gut bacteria. Koalas have the longest Appendix of all mammals because the bacteria that breaksdown the eucalyptus leaves is hard to find and without it they die. So the period of time that fighters use antibiotics to kill the staph infection – they are potentially starving themselves of nutrients due to there being not enough good bacteria to provide the normal nutrient intake they have. So for people thinking Zabit has bad cardio – No. He can do tricks for 5 rounds – he just didn't want to "back down" because of a staph infection. Zabit is MMA in god mode and IMO I think Bruce Lee is only a fraction of Zabit in capability. I mean – re-watch Bruce Lee's movies – half the time it's not even Bruce Lee fighting – pause the screen – take a look – it's usually some ugly dude that doesn't look a thing like Bruce Lee. People been growing up with distorted ideas of what Bruce Lee could actually do. Bruce Lee was into MMA and Bruce Lee had some good philosophies but Zabit is more capable as a fighter – based on actual video evidence. I must say that Katter surprised me – until now I would usually fast-forward / skip Katter's fights because they were so boring but Katter has improved or perhaps I've seen Katter's twin that can't fight – don't know but my database shows that Katter was always bland and boring but the latest UFC stats say otherwise – don't know who I was watching then – pretty sure it was Katter.

Guys I swear to god I’m rooting for zabit but he’s not someone who can rely on. He gases out early. The third of this he didn’t do anything. He’s not ready max. I’m happy he won but I don’t think he can win 5 rounds

Zabit's a great fighter but by god he needs to work on that cardio
Zabit technique is fenomenal but he lack power and I think that if he fought Max Holloway or Volkanovski, Edgar or Ortega would be forced to go on the ground. I think he has to improve is strenght if he wants to compete for the title! Ah… I'm not for UFC mimicking WWE trash talking and show but he could try to be more entertaining like Khabib.

When you cut so much weight to get to 145 lbs it's bound to happen that you run out of gas. And this problem is going to only worsen more as time goes on. It wasn't at all impressive how Zabit fought in this match. He's a supreme talent but this is not his division.
If he gets a good cardio…. man he’ll become unstoppable.

Does zabit not understand how rankings work? Each win is diff, great win for him, but after decisioning a number 11th ranked fighter while being number 5 doesn’t make u number 3 right away. Maybe number 4 depends on who else loses. Zabit is gaining momentum but i feel like he should fight the winner of Ortega and Korean zombie and if he wins that, then he can get a title shot
