Watch NASA's James Webb Space Telescope launch into orbit ctm magazine

The James Webb Space Telescope, NASA’s premier space observatory of the next decade, successfully launched from French Guiana. Webb will peer into the very atmospheres of exoplanets, some of which are potentially habitable, and it could uncover clues in the ongoing search for life outside of Earth. #CNN #News

Thumbs down for them talking over the whole thing

  • Luke on December 26, 2021

Launching this on their rocket was a big deal for the European Space Agency. Huge trust put in them by NASA and international teamwork to make this wonderful project happen 🙂

Remember God’s saying in the Qur’an: “We will show them Our signs in the horizons and in themselves until it becomes clear to them that it is the truth.”

  • Marsel De Chumavoy on December 26, 2021

They are talking about inception of universe, at the same time we hear words like "merry Christmas"

  • Nicholas Pichette on December 26, 2021

First piece of news that CNN has been able to put on air for years. Notice the dislikes are very low.

  • Nektu on December 26, 2021

Anybody else come to the comment section to see if any space deniers were here testing out their flat earth comedy routine with comments like, "kudos to the cameraman out in space, riding along side the rocket to film these shots" or "y'all are sheeple for thinking this is real…"?

  • Tenzin Lama on December 26, 2021

    Wow! Bob voyage James Webb!

  • Tamlyn Burleigh on December 26, 2021

Thanks for the news, but that commentator missed a couple of really important points. First, chaos never produces order, so the Big Bang universe idea is bunk, and to call humans hairless monkeys is an insult to monkeys. Humans were originally created by the same God who created the universe. If we were just monkeys we have no reason to do science.

Only way they're going to exit this world is through death. Not on a rocket ship NASA is a hoax

7:26 this was my favorite part, he knew for a fact explaining why they aren’t actually that far away now would take an entire extra tangent on the expansion of space. At that point you might start losing people lol

God bless America. So proud to see such things coming from Christian country. Love from Pakistan.

  • Teddy Ruxpin on December 26, 2021

Not to be a troll, but how does the NASA correspondent mispronounce Lagrange point? Yeesh… way to go NASA!

  • Teddy Ruxpin on December 26, 2021

Also, 9 billion over budget? And fear of pirates? You’re telling me the 600 billion we spent on the military annually can’t secure that payload to the launch site???!!! You’re kidding right?!

  • Cliffe Mack on December 26, 2021

But for some reason we can't get to the moon ever again apparently. But yeah let's go past the moon and just go way out somewhere out past the sun's orbit. Didn't even finish the video give me a break!!

  • baefoot on December 26, 2021

Go Webb go! One of the few and far between good events this year!

  • Remember on December 26, 2021

Do we have pirates still in this world? I would like more information on this
