I want one! Could this CAN have one?

  • roughdude on November 23, 2017

So much ignorance and stupidity in the comments. she actually asked good questions and she was rightfully concerned. If you know at least a little bit about IoT and the actual state of it, you'll know that having vehicles which can be remotely controlled is not without risks.

Lost you there, dude. Why not just have proper security in the bike's hardware instead of relying on the internet?

  • Triple Fade on July 4, 2018

Okay, as a motorcycle enthusiast and someone who lives in Portland, Oregon (parking is expensive out here snd it's getting worse, so I'd like to have a motorcycle to get to work and one of these to get everywhere else as I don't need freeway speeds to get around most of my chores during the week), I'd be interested, but I'd love to know a few things:
    1. How much does the entire thing weigh? Bikes get ripped off all the time out here, so I'd love to know if I could carry the thing upstairs to my apartment, or if I'd have to spend a lot more time at the gym for that to be feasible.
    2. What is the range? I mean, 30 miles would be way beyond enough for my application (most of what I'd use this for would be max 10 miles there and back).
    3. Can it be maintained remotely? Does the USB allow for software flashes or just taps into the battery?4. What is the max load? I mean, if I throw 20kg of groceries on my back, is this going to make my battery life 30 seconds? The article you're linked to seems to lock up after a minute… not sure if it's just my computer, though… so if the rest of these answers are on there, it might just be me.Thanks!

you need to make the battery pack narrower, drop it about 3 inches and make a cover that makes it look like a regular tank. I could ee the person pedaling had to really bow their legs out to pedal it, no very comfortable.

  • Sylas Marner on July 5, 2018
