A lot of good people fought for this country, just to hand it over to evildoers. Makes me sick!

Bill Norberg is now the sole survivor of the original Enterprise crew. On August 22, 2022 he stood in Drydock 12 the same dock where CV-6 was built as the keel of her successor CVN 80 was laid by Katie Ledecky. Hope he lives long enough to see the new boat commissioned.

SMH you should all be ashamed of yourself thousands die and you called it victory? Remember in all this the bible said great nations shall fall so in short what goes around comes around 😢

  • @wecuyler on May 18, 2024

its sad to see such a heroic ship be sold as scrap…thank you "Lucky E" and your crew for your valiant service and sacrifice.

  • @loungepuppy799 on May 19, 2024

What was the point of what the Allies did ? Look at how the US turned out: rampant crime, corruption everywhere, politically biased judges, vindictive politicians, rigged elections, etc.

  • @bluntforcetrauma8192 on May 19, 2024

I disagree with it being disrespectful turning the Big E into a floating museum. Selling candy and kids running on the ship laughing is not an insult, it is everything that those sailors were fighting for.

  • @MUSTANG_P51 on May 20, 2024

Though I understand why Alvin Kernan didn’t want to see the Enterprise be a museum, I disagree because the Enterprise was an essential piece of history, and should have been preserved as a museum. I hope the new Enterprise of the Ford-class carriers continues CV-6’s and CVN-65’s legacies.

  • @guylawes on May 22, 2024

I can't watch anymore after she was "Sold for scrap" Democrats at their finest! How disgusting!

  • @freelancer5906 on May 22, 2024

I've wondered why a nave version of the P-38 was never made.

Would've been a great addition to to any carrier.

  • @aegis-merogi4760 on May 28, 2024

  • @OGBobby420 on May 29, 2024

The best line….. we hugged, we kissed and we went off into the sunset! God Bless you! And may God Bless every single one of you young men! Thank you all who have and do serve the USA! 🫡🇺🇸

  • @unclefart5527 on May 29, 2024

Read the Big E book. Night pilots who designed the tactics were later polled and they didn't want to resume them. Too much risk for little or no glory. And because it's dark and they were escaping they were demoralized by not seeing their adversary crash when downed. So no kills, and no newspaper write-ups back home.

  • @kellyschram5486 on May 29, 2024

As I understand both enterprise and Saratoga both became cv(n)

  • @matthewjay660 on May 31, 2024

History will never forget the name "Enterprise."
