Twitter is anti free speech and a product with bad management. Elon is going to fix Twitter and he should make money that's a lot of work and a lot of risk of his money. That's called freedom mister MSNBC the right to make decisions work hard risk it all and if your good you can make money. Go Elon

  • Matt Johnson on April 30, 2022

MSNBC is okay with the dislike button being suppressed.

  • Ryan Lehning on April 30, 2022

That dislike ratio says it all…

  • Live From Stage IV on May 1, 2022

Ok. A few years ago Noam Chomsky was a darling of the left for pointing out the value of free speech. Now, channels like MSNBC that were all over EVERYBODY for years about how important it is to get your voice heard are now completely against the concept and say, "Free Speech" like it is code word and not a Constitutionally Protected right that was essential for the formation of unions, advancing women's suffrage, getting Jim Crow laws repealed, protesting the Vietnam War, report on environmental coverups, and outing Nixon over Watergate.

Free Speech is the bedrock of everything the constituents of the Left's base needed to even exist.

The logical conclusion is that they only want centrally approved corporate speech.

    C'mon man.

This host is some type of shill or just a simpleton. Option three is that the host is just crazy. Could be all three. You choose.

  • BonaGrad92 on May 1, 2022

This is the first time I've watched any of your shows… It amazes me that you get paid for this drivel. As soon as you start criticizing Bezos and other billionaires for their control over influential media you might get some credibility.

  • Introducing Mr. Lucci on May 1, 2022

Think they've pushed the propaganda and distortion of reality to far it's even gotten me to wake up and realize something's very wrong with the Democratic side of the aisle and I don't think they're on the side of the people just interested in manipulating them to keep them in power to subvert the country.

  • George Barrett on May 1, 2022

WTF happened to the left? They used to be champions of free speech. Now they have become Woke fascists that want to control all information and ideas.

  • Team Blanco on May 1, 2022

  • DrPepperWillSeeUNow on May 1, 2022

What’s wrong with Elon Musk being the owner?

  • Nigs Balchin on May 1, 2022

MSNBC talking about free speech on Twitter and attacking Musk for his motivations before he's had a chance to change anything. Yet they've spent years supporting big tech's systematic erosion of free speech through cancel culture – something they support 100%.

They are so skilled at Legilimency that MSNBC should be teaching at Hogwarts. Though I suppose that too many dark wizards running around detracting points from every house but Slytherin, at any and every excuse, would upset the balance of things at the school.

  • Doyle Hargraves 2007 on May 1, 2022

Please ban Joy Reid and co from Twitter for hate speech.

  • Carl Hearn on May 3, 2022

I thought MSNBC swallowed a stupid pill. Now I realize it was a stupid gummy and they are still chewing.

  • Robert Neil on May 3, 2022

  • parthis on May 3, 2022

Don't pretend like Twitter's previous CEO's valued free speech LOL. Anything Musk does will be better than them

  • N B on May 4, 2022

Yeah Twitter it is like Jurassic park which is why we need someone to come and sort it out. it will upset those who have made a mess in Twitter. it gets even more upsetting when he cleans up the bots and every user gets verified

  • Pentazer on May 6, 2022

    cope and seethe, regressive left.

  • Rafael Perez Marquez on May 7, 2022

Most business men are not anything like Musk. They should stop projecting their self serving money driven greed. Only a moron would think that making money is not considered, when profits are important to keep a company going.

  • Justin Griffin on May 8, 2022

Jimmy kimmel doesn't care about free speech more than money, what a hypocrite.
he never went after the Washington post or msnbc or fb…only musk.,

  • Angus McBean on May 8, 2022

His money. His choice. Criticism from the same idiots that gave us, “my body my choice”. 🇺🇸

  • 908lion on May 8, 2022

Demonizing “billionaires who consolidate power by buying companies” is kinda hypocritical when you’re okay with democratic elites using tech companies to censor anything that goes against the democratic narrative. This is what’s wrong with mainstream “journalism” today. This guy is pushing party rhetoric rather then just saying what happened. This clip is literally 2 minutes long minus the democratic propaganda.

  • Berkin Burak ARSLAN on May 10, 2022

whats the connection between private jet and free speech are you a joke? he tried to pay the kid who tracks which is pretty normal didnt try to shut his account

  • Trey Sharpe on May 10, 2022

Musk is welcoming something. He is welcoming the truth and expelling censorship and false narratives.

  • Kirbyclone on May 10, 2022

    Pot, meet kettle.

  • Justice Vanpool on May 13, 2022

god, people are so paranoid about this guy just because he believes in letting everyone talk.
Frankly, I believe we have issues with tribality that are more daunting, which is why the software should be designed so as not to instantly group and polarize discussion. I believe keeping it open to the public will aid this.

  • Justice Vanpool on May 13, 2022

I hate the obvious distortions of today's media/society…

Just because he has some principals does not mean he's doing it for "charity".

The right word would be social prosperity. big difference.
The same kind of morally bankrupt business mentality exists in America's broken healthcare system today.
The boardrooms believe that compassion and morality have no purpose in business, crippling the whole purpose of medicine.

Likewise with social media. Principals of free speech are ignored under the false belief thay standing up for a future of enlightened democracy is somehow charity.
