It is pretty obvious why the younger generation may be depressed with many leaders of my generation fiddling as the planet burns. I say don't feel hopeless, don't get depressed, don't get discouraged, but rather get even by VOTING for leaders who will make your life better. Democrats, Progressives, and Independents unit behind the party that can make your life better and VOTE! If you don't vote, then quit whining.

Adults, during the past decade have been acting more like children, and that doesn't help these kids either. They need mature direction. Even though kids complain, they DO want direction and guidance, or they can become very depressed. Older people are getting very depressed now also, because of the way the country itself has 'acted out' it's problems in an unhealthy way. Jmo… It's sad to see so much illness now.
A divided world at war on multiple fronts, a divided nation on politics and wealth, a divided economy between company power and helpless consumers, a divided media between left and right but both busy with sensationalizing and monetizing raw emotions, a lack of visionary leadership to inspire this generation. What is there to cheer about for these bright minds of American Tomorrow?

No, I don't want to smooth this over, it's been hard. There's help,and don't feel embarrassed to speak up, for health,and your mental health,can be knocked out of whack,an they may need to treat you with therapy, or, medication. But,you need to get help. This has been 4 year's,of the pandemic. And please, get help. My son was strong enough to know,he needed help. Hey, he's my Son,but REALLY, he's in a great place,because he listened to his thoughts,and he found help. His life,fell into place. You, can too. Best of luck,I wish you well. Cheer's.

The reality of earning a living becomes stark as teenagers approach graduation. This country offers a median income of poverty in the three largest states California New York and Texas. A high school graduate is certainly not near the median income level. What are you going to do for a place to live? This is a real terror and none in this country show any effort of establishing a minimum wage that is a living local in the USA.
